Clinical Psychology
The Area of Specialization concerns the deepening and specialization in Clinical Psychology, at the level of theoretical training, practice and research. In particular, the direction of Clinical Psychology aims to train the trainee (s) to function independently as clinical psychologists in the public or private sector. This means that by their graduation students in the direction of Clinical Psychology should be able to act autonomously as clinical psychologists in all the basic fields of clinical psychology application. These include psychological assessment, psychological treatment, prevention and intervention at Community level, and in-depth scientific research. The program cultivates an expanded perspective on the causality of the psychological problems presented by clients, with particular sensitivity to social problems and how they affect the psychology of the individual.
Clinical Neuropsychology
The Area of Specialization concerns the diagnostic assessment and cognitive restoration of cognitive dysfunctions in people with a disorder (neurological, psychiatric or other aetiopathogenesis or injury) that affects the functioning of the central nervous system. It is based on knowledge of psychology, psychopathology, functioning of the human nervous system, neuroscience, statistics, psychometry and general pathology. It includes description and investigation of behavioral patterns and the design and implementation of cognitive neuropsychological rehabilitation programs. The goals are to diagnose and care for the patient, as well as to identify disorder and brain organization.

Languange knowledge competence: Accreditation of minimum European B2 Greek level supported either through an official degree from the Modern Greek Language Teaching Center of Athens or the School of Modern Greek Language of the AuTH or a Greek University Degree.Selection criteria:
1. Successful participation in the admission examination, with participation in the total rating of 50%, of which 25% corresponds to each of the two courses examined.
2. University Degree Grade, 20% of the final evaluation
3. Performance in in final year thesis dissertation, 10% of the final evaluation
d) Performance in research and related extracurricular activities (eg publications, presentations at conferences and other related professional activity), 10% of the final evaluation
e) Individual Interview, 10% of the final evaluation
Please note that only those candidates who have passed the written examination in both courses are invited to interview.

Candidates of the "Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology" Postgraduate Programme are required to have passed an examination in two (2) courses. Specifically:
"Clinical Psychology" Specialization candidates are examined in the following subjects:

2. Psychotherapy
"Clinical Neuropsychology" Specialization candidates are examined in the following subjects:
1. Neuropsychology
2. Statistics

The number of students admitted to the postgraduate programe "Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology" is defined per year for a maximum of 14 postgraduate students, eight (8) in the "Clinical Psychology" Specialization and six (6) in "Clinical Neuropsychology" Specialization.
